No Presents For You
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Feeling evil this Christmas? Time to steal some presents with a twist. Your life depends on it. The more presents you steal, the more lives you have. The aim is simple, steal and many presents while getting away safetly.
Your main goal is to get through the portal in each level without falling to the enemies. Each time you fail a level you lose a present, if you run out of presents and die, you lose. Collect presents from the levels to gain additional lives so you can make a few mistakes.
Light Red Enemies: Moves every 2 ticks towards you. If they get too close you are toast.
Dark Red Enemies: Moves every 4 ticks towards you. They function the same as the light red enemies, just slower.

The entire idea for the game came from the video above, mostly the way the knights move in the early stages and the clear beat on their movement. The rest was to make it christmassy 'n' all.
As this is a game jam entry & the jam was a casual jam one with a spread out duration, there was a limit of 4 days worth of time working on the project which was agreed on, below is how I split my time up on the project.

Install instructions
Download the build for your playform of choice -> Extract the .zip folder -> Launch the executable.

Ah, probs cause I made the builds with Vulkan rather than the normal export graphics API. I'll see about getting a fix up soon xD

I've uploaded a new build with the normal graphics settings, let me know if that works for you xD
I can open it but it doesn't seem to get any input, it is not interactive; I can't start the game
The controls are all arrow keys/WASD with enter to confirm.
